hello all, i have a track for you people to evaluate and feel free to be as honest and (if necessary) brutal... i won't be hurt

since ive never posted in this section of TA before, ill give you a little background on me

been djing house and trance and prog versions of both for a year and a half... starting messing with fruity back in january for a bit... i just started "really" producing about a month and a half ago

im using logic pro 7.2, ableton and some sample cds for the time being

im into all types of edm, ive been working on some melodic stuff too and this is my first crack at a house track. its deep techy dirty house and my goal was to make a pleaser for the "sleazy dirty afterhours crowd" (not to offend anyone or make rash generalizations... it was a JOKE DAMMIT! lol)

so with that in mind... please tell me how i could possibly change the track and any other opinions would be great

again.. feel free to be as honest as possible

Mr Rogers
unique style, which is good.
kick is really lackin kick...almost non existent
i was waiting for the kick to come in , and it didn't.
not a big fan of that distorted sound, way to much reverb for my liking.
interesting framework for ur track, not enough goes on to keep me wanting more though, lacks something.
Also some more percs are needs to fill the spectrum, sounding pretty empty, it does have potential.
sounds like u got a good base for a track, now u gotta work on incorporating more creativity into it.
good luck :)
nils
i really like the sounds and the filth. could use some variations, perhaps some pads or more percussion? anywho, good job :)

finally ! this is very special the intro part can work in a full track,
honestly I got bored after 1.45 min but then it changed and I gave it a few more seconds and then I got bored again, But I listened to the whole tune. and I feel theres a lot missing in this track first of that saw bas isnt deep enough for a deep house track , it have no lows at all. Add another layer of deep bass, I hear you have put a lot of effort in this track lots of Squeezing and tweaking but its very monotone you need a rythm as i told another guy in the forums 20 min ago No rythm no Track! and a base is essential for a rythm , percs tribals drum changes and so on , This is a GOOD draft for a track but thats all I can say about this its a draft. But since you only have been producing for 1-2 years this is good. keep upp the gpood work and finnish this one. tell me when its done.!

Sorry if I was a bit hard on you but you wanted me to be honest, and this way you might learn =)

Love - Mavve!
