I certainly hope so. I never thought people would put up with something like the Partriot Act eigther, so I have my fingers crossed.

Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the United States to repeal the 22nd amendment to the Constitution. (Introduced in House)
Clinton wants it. he said so. this amendment repeal was also tried in 1986 and was bi-partisaned as well.

the office of the president is the only federal post that has term limits. i think the amendment should be scrapped. a lot of liberals would feel the same way if the shoe was on the other foot. they'd prolly be staring into poll numbers in the thirties too.

run the bill. let the people speak. be afraid if you want.

It seems to me that if someone intended to do something that was a genuine threat to those in power, it would be unwise of them to create an electronic record of it by describing their intentions here.

i was more interested in the basic inclination (fight or flight) rather than the specifics of either.

I can't answer for josh, but that's something I'm trying to figure out too. I'm quite disillusioned by the system. I don't see a feasible way of working with the system that would produce any substantial beneficial results. And in this day in age, with the kind of military technology that exists and how modren war fare is, the citizens wouldn't stand a chance if we were to engage the government in some type of armed conflict or guerilla warfare.

What do you think all those DOD payloads launched in the 80's were for?

SDI platforms were some of the secretive DOD payloads of the shuttles.

Like the internet; GPS, COMSAT and SDI (now Ballistic Missile Defense Organization or BMDO) were all military projects.

COMSAT is just one type of satellite.
