| I can see your points with regards to cluttering the World Cup forum with hype threads for each country. My original intention for creating this thread was to catalogue some of the World Cup's greatest players and some of its potential current and future stars for the sake of exposition, but as that project started to take a little too much of my time, I simply stuck to Brazil since I'm most well-versed in their history and renamed it "Brazil hype thread". I definitely don't mind changing the title to reflect my original intentions, perhaps to "World Cup's greatest players", if people are interested in cataloguing their respective former and current stars. Otherwise, I'll either move the thread or close it, but I don't think it should be merged into a pre-existing one. |

I don't quite understand what you're saying. Maybe you misunderstood my above suggestion. I proposed to make this thread into a "Greatest Players of the World Cup" thread, which would include any and all players that have distinguished themselves during any World Cup, regardless of the country they play for. Thus, any person knowledgeable enough about their respective sides can catalogue their countries' greatest World Cup heroes. Thus, this thread would have nothing to do with Brazil exclusively, which is why I'm confused by your misgivings. |
