Krome Studio Productions once again comes together to bring you yet another amazing
night for the books. This time we will be gathering on June 2, 2006 at the Loft in
downtown Atlanta, GA. This event will include not one, but TWO live P.A. performances,
one from FORD and one from SKYLAB2000. Ford will be doing his live P.A. act in full 3-D.
We will be providing 3-D glasses for this event. We highly encourage you not to miss this amazing show.
FORD - LIVE IN 3-D (FORD Productions, Krome Studio Productions)
Highly regarded as America’s No. 1 producer of commercial Trance & Breaks music, his heavy synth-line driven Anthems have become the crescendo of every Radio Mixshow & DJ set. FORD is most notably known for his original productions, Robin Fox’s “I See Stars”, Terra Skye’s “Is This Love” , and Kassi's "Threw It All Away" whose haunting melodies and lyrics, written by FORD, continue to echo through clubs and dance radio airwaves as staying classics. Since 1994, Dennis Barton has been traveling city to city as skylab2000 playing his brand of hard hitting dance music.
The twist - skylab2000 is not a DJ or a 'laptop' band. This is a fully LIVE electronic music performance. With a full set of synths, samplers, mixer, effects units and a computer onstage, a skylab2000 show is a unique experience. This music is made live, with real vocals, changing to the crowds needs and creating a ride to remember.
Elements of hard house, acid breaks, progressive, techno, and trance, play a role in the eclectic skylab2000 sound.
skylab2000 has got dance music in his blood. His parents are both from international cities known for creating dance music. Growing up in New York in disco's heyday - then moving to London (and experiencing it's early rave scene) - sealed his fate as a electronic music composer.
Southern California is now home base, but it's rare to find skylab2000 at home. Worldwide, skylab2000 has played Japan, Hong Kong, Istanbul, Russia, Puerto Rico, Montreal, Canada, Molvania, Mexico and more! Here at home, skylab2000 has played in 45 of the 50 states including shows in Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, Dallas, Miami, Las Vegas, Anchorage and so many more.
This live energy is often recorded and released on CD or vinyl. The US release of 'Auburn' included the first ever remix by LA's Taylor. Auburn has been played heavily by DJs such as Sasha, Carl Cox, Keoki and Pete Tong. In the UK, skylab2000 earned a top ten on Pete Tong's BBC Radio One Essential Selection.

John Michaels (Krome Studio)
Born in Seattle and raised in Colorado this artist moved to Atlanta at the age of 14 where he immediately found his passion in the Electronic Dance Scene.
Over a decade of DJing he can play anything brought to the table even a four table brawl with a partner. He has covered all aspects of the industry starting with lights and sound, to promoting and throwing parties, to working a crowd on the decks, and is currently working in the studio on production. He has played all over the southeast, Reno, Nevada, New Mexico, and many other states playing alongside some of the greatest talent.
There's literally no Genre this man won't explore, while driving your senses in an uproar. Flynt (Krome Studio)
It is said that the primitive source of fire is energy and the beat. Drawing from primevil roots a spark was sruck and Flynt was born. At the age of twelve he discovered a talent in music. From high school band to local rock bands Flynt mastered the technique of writing and playing music. Instrument of choice being the drums. From this point on, it was all about the beats. Flame is to fire as the beat is to the DJ, one cannot exist without the other and there can be no fire without Flynt.
As music evolved and the electronic music scene emerged, Flynt began to set fire to the dance floor of Atlanta. With influences such as Prodigy, to Uberzone, a unique blend of electronica was created. Flynt's sound consists of elements from Drum & Bass, Progressive House, Lo-Fi Breaks, and UK Big Beat.
His Diversity as well as his combustable passion drive him to burn up the tables and spin fire!

There will be plenty of alchohol pouring for all of you that want to dance under the influence. :crazy: We have added extra sound to this venue to improve the acoustics of the rooms. | Yes unfortunately Live PA acts are much more expensive to bring due to all the extra equipment and setup. You can still buy presale tickets at $20. This is a big reason that you have seen a decrease in Live PA acts. But the experience is totally different from a DJ set. We also have to female vocalist flying in to sing their new hit singles in unison with FORD's act. So we hope to see you out so you can determine for yourself. |
