hehee....i actually use the alesis dm pro sound module....that damn thing has so many fackin sounds in it (like, over 60 kits)
that studio logic controller is gonna kick ass when it comes in....full spread of individual parts in the kit layed across 88 keys....**drool |

| As I listen closely to drums from reason in comparison to drums in professional soungs, I hear a big difference. In reason, the kicks dont sound as full, and as powerfull.. and even when u layer the kicks and tweak them, they still dont sound as good. any other program suggestions? |

| I use the kits in my Roland MC-307 (it has 40 kits), very broad selection and whenever I miss something I can put that in my sampler. |

that is exactly why i said reason WITH drum samples.....not reason drums but other drums |

Novation Drumstation is cool, but be sure you get V2 because the original has got mad noise. Not white noise, mad noise.. ok not mad noise but really really bad noise. It sounds a bit like electricity ..
And there's more.. the originals don't have proper adapters which means they some time hang. For me it varies.. sometimes I have to restart it 2-3 times per day, other times it can be on for a week without trouble.

| I have the Korg ER-1, .. yet, I've only used it for one sample.. lol, maybe I should boot that thing up and give it a try, and sample the kicks off there to use. The drumstation looks good, but I have no money :stongue: |

I use my trusty 1210's, soundforge 4, cubase/vst fx and the amazingly useful export as wav function!!!

Im working on a site at the moment that has loads of tips and tutorials specifically for trance/ hard dance. And the idea is to have a loads of samples there. Ill post a link when its up> :) |
