i listen to minimal yes, but i also listen to loads of latin house, and many vocal tracks that alot of people would say is cheese.

For what its worth I love ed up music ala Holden and Vath and there's no unicorns in my world....any more..
When i go out i dont want to listen to the music that plays on radios and that 14 yearolds sing-along while they get ready for their "party". Also, what a party is depends on the person...Im sorry but i will never consider Guetta/Sinclair/Benassi and the rest of them as a 'party',
I will however say that the only thing these guys are good for is that they bring in the women, (although the 17+ will be a mission but they are there) :p

exactly...i go out for the music, not all the other .
If i wanted to hear Owner of a lonely heart and a whole bunch of super edm/pop music id stay home and listen to the radio.
If i want to go out and get laid, im not going to an afterhour in the first place now, am i;)
Funny i thought being a dj, was about creating your own sound(because face it all they do is play other peoples music).If they all just play the most commercial where is the fun in that.
Maybe im just too old school, but Montreal is becoming like this.I dont know, it just seemed more fun when everything had an underground vibe to it.

Louis, i like most of the sets i heard from you, but just dont tell me since you are at Circus tu joue juste le gros commercial.After 3am, it shouldnt be like that.
please dont turn in to mc mario man, you are way better than that.And if Circus forces you to play that way, it tells me you are in the wrong place. |

To you guys it may be cheese, but in the end when you are in a club and the "cheese" tune is dropped, you are out on the floor, dancing and having fun and singing along. It doesn't matter who you are or what you stand for musically. This is just the way it is :D |

| There are music for every kind of taste out there. Why hate on another EDM style because you dont like it. Louis is right Sinclair, Guetta and Benassi do increase the popularity of EDM in Montreal. Like most people started with trance the new generation can start with this kind of sound and maybe one day they will learn and educate themself more on the scene. I enjoy his music like I enjoy more underground stuff also. I rather see people party on this kind of music than on Hip Hop beats. |

If a dj's material is focal to biglabel commercial audibles, then i promise you that he will blend very well to the background and will fail to position against the 30289654303203 djs in the _world_. Not only shall your train of thoughts go astray, but so will ur prize for ambition. But..... Swindon lot are !! Who cares????
Music guys, so long as you stay true to its metronome and the dj is making something special out of it. Blasphemy otherwise.
I must admit though, I feel like many of the bigname superstar bomfonk artists are more into selling image, whereas the true pioneers of today are changing the sound of tomorrow for that they are very much in love.... What movement brought you guys to the scene?
