Another crazy night @ Spundae. Hope all of you will be able to make it out for this one. It's guaranteed to be a crazy night of sounds along with a couple surprises too ;)
The club wide line-up is undeniable on this one.
We have Lost Episode hosting the backroom with Victor Dinaire and Swedish Egil headlining + more. Then we have Grooveriders in the Loft featuring some local S.D. and L.A. DJs that know how to ROCK THE DANCEFLOOR!!! And then of course you have myself and Randy Boyer opening up the mainroom before the double headliner madness begins, with the big guys themselves, Rank-1 and Signum!!

In 1997 Piet meets Benno de Goeij at a party. They discuss their passion for music all night long. Benno has no experience at all in producing, but he has a perfect ear for good melodies, due to his classical musical background by playing the piano and the keyboard. They decide to cooperate and the first releases as Pedro & Benno soon follow. Their records are put on the decks by numerous DJ's and they are asked for remixes by Jean, Ferry Corsten and Cygnus X. But it is their own 'Airwave', the theme of Innercity Hollands biggest indoor danceparty, that puts RANK 1 really in the spotlights. Their remix of Cygnus X's 'Superstring' was last years Sensation theme. The images of the videoclip, recorded at the event in the magnificent Amsterdam ArenA stadium, nowadays find their way through whole Europe and are to be seen in countries such as The United States of America, Japan and South-Africa as well.
As for 2001, RANK 1 has a tight schedule. First of all there is the soon to be expected album. One of the tracks, 'Such Is Life' the Sensation 2001 anthem, was released in july and climbed the charts with the speed of light. This track already differs from the style RANK 1 got famous with. And this will be continued on the forthcoming album on which Piet and Benno will demonstrate their variety, making it not just an album for the dancefloor but one to listen to at home as well.
When it comes to interviews, RANK 1 is mostly reluctant to get into details. They rather let their music speak for itself, since they consider themselves as ordinary guys. With a lot of musical talent that is...

Signum is the combination of two talented producers in the European music industry. They are Pascal Minnaard, ( age 29) and Ronald Hagen (also age 29).
Both live in Zoetermeer, a little city nearby The Hague, there home base in The Netherlands.
Pascal & Ron first met each other in high school. This was the place were they found out that they had the same interest in making music, and started to do some work together. Although they lost contact, they both continued making there music.
During that time, Pascal got a record contract at the Dutch label/agency BPM Dance. Here he made his first track, under his own name on the label 4-Play (Inside a Rainbow).For his second release ("Flow of Knowledge, The Other Side, Adapter"), he started working under the name Signum, on the label Jinx from former company BPM Dance.
At this time Pascal met up with Ron again. Ron also signed up with BPM Dance and they started producing together again. Not knowing that this turned out to be a huge success. Because when they released their first track together, in 1997 on the JINX label, called "What you got for me", the record became a huge club anthem. And with it's re-release in 2001 (on TidyTrax) it even got the nr.36 position in the UK Top40 !!!!
"What ya got 4 me" turned out to be, what you now a days call a true "Trance Classic".

If there is a big trance artist coming through town, chances are you will find local favorite, Kristina Sky, on the bill as well. She has been an instrumental figure in L.A.s growing trance and progressive movement, constantly collaborating with L.A. promoters to bring the biggest and best upcoming names in Trance and Progressive music while also playing her melodic, driving, uplifting, European sound, alongside many of these acts herself, such as Johan Gielen, Blank & Jones, Ferry Corsten, ATB, Solarstone, Rank-1, Jan Johnston, Nu-Nrg, Paul Oakenfold, Kyau vs. Albert, Pulser, 4 Strings, Ronski Speed, Mark Norman, Motorcycle, Second Sun, Ian Van Dahl, Cosmic Gate, Filo & Peri, Phynn, Menno de Jong and the list goes on. She devotes every waking moment to the EDM movement and it doesn't look like she plans on slowing down anytime soon.

In addition to his impressive DJ career, Boyer also developed a production development team EnMass, with former partner, Eric Tadla. Together, Boyer and Tadla, composed some of the biggest anthems of 2004 & 2005. CQ EnMass was hammered by Armin Van Buuren, Paul Van Dyk, Tiesto, and several other djs in every major city across the world. CQ was featured on Armin Van Buurens Universal Religion 2004 Live from Ibiza, as well as several other compilation cds. Beyond Horizon EnMass was yet another trance anthem, played by Paul Van Dyk, AVB, and Ferry Corsten as well. This track was featured on Armin Van Buuren most famous compilation cd A State Of Trance 2005. Randy & Eric also remixed Whiterooms second single Someday." This remix rocked dance floors, and was played by every major dj in the world! With the combined experience of over 25 years, and dedication in the production realm, EnMass brought a new meaning to the world of music and dance with their cutting edge styles and trend setting beats.
