Well we all know who's going for Mutek / Piknik 2 :D
Im pissed I missed the VJ workshop today (I just found out these workshops are free!!)
But there's one tomorrow which I might attend.
Im pissed that I cant see Modeselktor either tonight, anyone who can go should, great music.
Also I cant attend the Nocturne 4 tomorrow coz of the hefty price (27.50) but here's what I read about the main attraction, Thomas Brinkmann:
"Known for strange technological innovations like the two-armed turntable and (as demonstrated when he last played at Mutek) records that have been surgically altered with deep cuts made by an Exacto knife..." - Hour
That sounds sweeet if u ask me!
In fact all the panels, workshops and events this festival brings sound really good and I would attend all of them if I had the means...

yup I know.. but I'm not going for the music all that much, more to chill outside with some friends. If it rained all day, I am sure the event will still be decent, but it would certainly take away from the piknic concept IMO. |
