Thought I'd share a preview of my latest project. It isn't finished yet, so comments would be greatly accepted!

The style is supposed to get somewhere near Trancestep, or John B's Electrostep-stuff. It features some of the elemenths I've put in "No Problems", but it won't sound anywhere near euphoric. Time for da hard rolling beats of drum & bass to come in!:thepirate

Oh btw, Mebot did the robot-singing on this one:p

Very very interesting...

I've heard of this genre on Iskur's guide to electronic music.

You seem to blend alot of subtle symphonic influence with synthy textures. I like that alot.

Wonderful percussion drive before we run into:
The staccato strings! These are phenominal! The acid-jazz synth is also a nice touch.

This doesn't really strike me as trancestep, but who cares about that?

You need to finish it.

hypnotizing as hell!
kick needs a little work, bit more punch and everything needs some brightning i think.
the stings section sounds awsome, sound after that is unique but a little cheesy.
and those robotick noises are kick ass.
awsome track so far, interested in hearing the final :)

Well...

I actually have a trancy synth melody going on, further in the project. But I thought I'd leave it out in teh sample, because it's cheesy as hell!:toothless

That's always the issue with me, making everything sound clear. Those kick and snare-samples are taken from an 80's song I forgot the title from, maybe that's why it sounds a little outdated too:)

Thank you both for your advices!
