actually, i have. lol
my best friend since 4th grade (a guy) used to be into all sorts of illegal activity. he grew up in a big family with lots of money, so he obviously did it for the thrill. and i'm not talking about like shop lifting at liquor stores. He did serious . He had all kinds of little gadgets for opening up garage doors and getting into gated communities (like universal clicker thingies) and he’d drive to naples and come back with Porsche rims and AMG rims and crap like that. oh yea and he had this thing where he was selling expensive golf clubs on ebay for a while and god knows where he got those.
So anyway, one night the summer after I graduated high school, he calls me up and he’s like, “hey you wanna make like $1,000 bucks tonight?” and I’m like, “haha sure, doing what?” and he goes on to explain to me that he’s going to rob the owner of some Thai restaurant later that night over some that he wouldn’t tell me about. I guess the guy screwed him over for something, who knows. Anyway, he had ski masks, walkie talkies and tazer guns and wanted me to be the getaway driver. And me being very immature, and very broke at the time was like, “umm ok”. He knew every single thing about this guy’s routine after he closed down the restaurant..even down to the 5 thousand dollar rolex he wears and how much cash is in his envelope when he leaves the restaurant and what kind of car he is in, etc.. I was thinking, “holy ” he must have put a lot of time and thought into this.
Anyway, so we start like staking out the place and and I’m nervous as hell in the car and he goes over everything with me like 50 times. Well the thai restaurant was in a little outside strip mall that was right next to a major highway. And (I’m just going to cut to the chase now) there happened to be like 3 police cars pulled over right by where the restaurant is and you could easily see them from the parking lot in front of the restaurant (where he was going to tazer the guy and rob him). So at the last minute, he said nevermind because I guess the tazers make a big light when you use them on someone (or so he thought) and he was paranoid that it might grab the cops’ attention.

I’m glad we didn’t go through with it. I was all freaked out afterwards like, “Jamie what the hell were u thinking!?” |
