Well I went to this car place for the first time. I got TINTS for my 05 Black Honda Civc. Illegal in the back and front right before illegal. It came out good!
Next time I went there I wanted this WOLO truck horn istalled. My factory horn sounds like a bee buzzing and girls and ! I drove it from work and no problems. Dropped it off with the horn. Walked around and ate at a diner by myself(Pastrami on Rye) 7.5/10 Bread was dry. Walked back and went to pickup the car. Horn worked because I heard them test it but it was going simultaneously with the original hron. I was like ok whatever! 85$ with tax. I drive out of the Lot and !!!!:whip: :whip: :whip: :eyes:
My steering wheel is shifting to the right without even touching it!!So I walike WTF So I drive back and say something and there like how could Installing a horn afftect the wheel. I was like well you see for yourself. One worker took it for a ride and same . How could I prove to them that I did not bring it to them like that(Thats wheer I can't prove to them) Then I know about car so how can I prove they did something wrong. Gameover so I leave with my new horn and f'd up steering.
Next day I want them to at least disconnect the factory horn because it did sound wack with both at the same time. With no problems and it was free of charge so at least that worked out but with my steering all f;d up still.
Today. My father brings my car to some mechanic for a lookover. He found the problem. Some metal piece holding the horn the Place installed was digging into the steering mechanisim(top of wheel) and one screw broke and was jammed cauding the cranking sounds also that was noticeble. SO THEY DID F UP THOSE BASTARDS!!!!!!! :whip:
So here is the fun part.
1)The mechanic changres nothing for the simple fix and all but my ftaher gave him 20$. I would of done the same thing!! That was great of him and he was recommend so I might be going there again.
2)He is the topper!! Rememner when I said the install cost 85$. Well I signed the receipt real fast without looking and bounced day one when it got installed BUTTTTTTTTT:wtf: :haha: :crazy: Last night I looked at the receipt I signed(credit card/sales version) and it said 35$!!!!!:eyespop:
So in the end
+ 20 for the horn
+ 35 install
+ 20 car fix
=$75<- could of been 85 anyways :)
So I look at it and all the nonsense
lesson learned is....Anything a hookup place does UNDER THE HOOD make sure you know the guy already or you know what he is doing in there!!
Obviously installing TINTS or maybe spoiler one day is fine but UNDER THE HOOD WATCH THE F OUT FOR YOUR CAR!!! |
