I thought it was a great end to triology.
I havent read the book the character of Phoenix is fantastic except that its a lil unfair to the other X-MEN.
Also, did Magneto move that chess coin in the end??

Yes, which makes you think that perhaps the "cure" is only temporary.
I didn't like XMen3 I think it would've been a lot better if Brian Singer continued to direct it. |

Well, i actually didnt like the first 2 xmen. They were quite bland and plot wise.. it was pretty weak.Just like the first spiderman. I'm probably gonna hate superman but will just watch it just to see how it goes.
and did magneto really move those chess bits.. didnt notice it. and professor x is alive?? how? I mean..how did myra get hold of his body?? and why was there no further investigation on cyclops.. such a pivotal figure in the comics.
and i thought this was the last movie about x-men.. dont tell me they're gonna do the whole time travelling saga and maybe even get apocalypse in the script. Cause frankly i think apocalypse is an impossible character to make in a movie |

They showed Cyclops dying so there probably shun be a need for investigation... |

Movie was a complete miss for me.
After having seen Sin City elevate the comic book medium in film, X-men seemed hollow in comparison. Even Hellboy and Spiderman before moved the comic book movie genre forward. This movie didn't as far as I could tell. |
