Whatever you call it, here on St. Clair we are gearing up for the 2006 FIFA World Cup tournament with St. Clair Kick-It! World Cup Community Festival.

See movies inspired by the game, look at photos from 1982 on St. Clair – the biggest peaceful spontaneous street-closing in Canada’s history, celebrating Italy’s World Cup victory. Bring your friends and sign your team up for the 4 on 4 tournament. Come to the soccer clinic and improve your skills, or to Soccer 101 and learn the fundamentals of the game. Bring your taste buds to local caffes and restaurants for the World Cup of Wine and the World Cup of Coffee. Bring your ideas and opinions there, too, for the Talking Heads of Soccer, informative talks and roundtable discussions. Bring your dancing shoes for Samba bands and live DJ.
