correct me if i'm wrong but the track isn't called 'simply being loved' its called 'somnumbulist' and the lyrics go 'simply being loved'
|
Well it depends on what release we're talking about...
On this it's called Somnambulist (Simply Being Loved) and on this Australian release it's Simply Being Loved (Somnambulist). Then again on the US Nettwerk release it's just Somnambulist. So yeah... go figure. |

No, what your saying is incorrect actually. Trust me, im BT´s number 1 fan. He made Flaming June by himself, PVD just remixed it. There are 3 versions of the song actually,,,, The Original version by BT, the PVD and BT mix and the Mudblood Remix, that wasnt really released.
|
As been said, BT composed the "base" of the track himself and then he asked PvD to give some of his ideas to add into the track instead of PvD just remixing it.. There doesn't exist a version by BT alone. All the existing BT related mixes have been made together with PvD.
BT & PvD Original Mix (9:14) -> The one used on ESCM, with the mellow breaksy ambience in the intro and outro, only edited a bit on the album.
BT & PvD Remix (11:05) -> The more stomping version without the breaksy ambience parts of the "original mix" and which got edited for the CD singles. |

There are more than three versions, as this, this and this clearly show.
In addition, please show me a release with an "Original" mix that is not credited to Paul Van Dyk. As far as I can tell, BT composed it and then drafted in PVD to help him produce it. If there is a mix solely made by BT, I can find no evidence of it. |
Are "Flaming June" and "Sunblind" the same songs by BT? |

No. Flaming June BT made together with PvD in 1997 while Sunblind is a whole another track BT made in 1999 featuring vocals of Jan Johnston. They might sound a wee bit similar at parts but they are far from being the same track. |

MORON!!!! Shoot yourself. You didnt read my first post , you nincompoop
“This Binary Universe,” has been described as “fine art that works on many levels, mind-bendingly deep but a pleasure” by Keyboard Magazine, which went on to say that:
“In a hundred years, it could well be studied as the first major electronic work of the new millennium.” Said Keyboard Magazine.
Im just re-stating what they said.
Gosh...... you were late to the Brain distribution........... |

ing hell, you're a bit of an idiot, aren't you?
You do not know what it's going to sound like. Not everything they write on magazines is true. FORM YOUR OWN OPINION ABOUT SOMETHING! You just believe blindly everything someone says somewhere and make outrageous claims about an album you haven't even heard!
I mean I like BT too but you're just being ridiculous.
Christ. I hate fanboys. |

I think half the reason people find Emotional Technology to be disappointing is because it doesn't compare with his previous albums sound- and stylewise, it's far from their more electronic breaksy/trancey/housy atmospheres and is more on the poppy side of sounds instead.
It's not my fav BT album but i like it. Even if it is pretty much pop for the most part it is damn well produced. For the forthcoming album, i have no idea as of yet as it's not out and i never truly believe what some sites or magazines "say" about releases before i have heard the reviewed release myself. It can suck big time or be fantastic, we'll see. |

| I believe he was intending to quote the line, rather than iterate it as his own belief. Of course, quotation marks and other basic grammar would have made it a lot more obvious. |

Dude, i apologize for insulting you first of all, an lets just keep this on without insults......
You are right on me forming my own opinions,, And i DO. but i just truly believe what this magazine tells me, because they always have great and honest reviews, and i trust BT's capabilites blindly.
Im only re-stating what they said. I dont mean to cause any word-war in here. So i apologize and
I am a Fanboy, but so are you! I suppose you have your own Gods in Music.
Bt, Hans Zimmer, Tarja Taraunen and Chris Martin are mines........ but im just supporting them.
Cheers.
And i think its time for this thread to disappear, i wll be erasing it later today. |
