Of all the advances in culture I think i'm most happy that we don't attribute rock and roll to the devil anymore.

Damned if I know, they jump all over the place. One day my dad listens to The Beatles, the next he's borrowing my Prodigy cd's... go figure.

| My parents seem to be stuck at the time they got married: early 80's. Both of them were very conservative, but they're slowly becoming more liberal. |

my dad. well 60s music wise, some 50s (he was born in 43) and spiritually 1978-1981 when his team, Nottingham Forest, twice won european cups
Mum tries to be more upto date but kinda annoys me cos it's a try-hard attitude, I mean it's ok that she tries to be nice but it makes me cringe a bit |

my parents are pretty hip, but my mom is more hip than my dad. as far as music, my mom likes light rock alternative. she likes some of the slow metallica songs, matchbox 20, goo goo dolls, red hot chilli peppers, U2. the only older stuff she loves and still jams out to is dire straits and pink floyd...
my dad likes country and oldies. hahah but he's pretty chill, he'll listen to anything really, obviously except for like rap or metal. he used to enjoy a lot of the more chill edm i would play in the house, like sasha, etc...
they both dig some of my edm selections, which is cool.
my mom dresse nice and hip too...mostly like banana repubic style...very sophisticated and classy. dad is the same. khaki shorts, polos and deck shoes...kind of a prep. |
