Im using FLS and was wondering if there was a way to record what keys you press manually. Like you got this beat looping and you hit the keys kinda like real life playing, eh its hard to explain. Cause i remember what i play but i cant get it to sound the same when i actually put in the notes.

Sorry for the bad explanation.
Final Call
hit the record button at the top..and just start jamming away at the keys =)

Sweet thanks.

It seems that the keys only go so high. Is there a way to move it up an octave? I could just move it later but it sounds different in live mode you know.

Well depending on which instruments, you can go in the properties window, set the pitch knob to 12 and turn it all the way up, this should up all notes by one octave. But on some synths it tends to screw up and '12' doesn't turn it a whole octave.

it's probably quantising too if it sounds different from when it's played live.

Yeah I dont't know if you can move up an octave if your using your computer keyboard to insert notes. I've often wondered if you could but really couldn't find anything to say how.

Only solution I found is to get a midi controller hehe:)
