Wow awesome awesome night! I credit the opener, M3 I think?, for setting the vibe right early on. I got there at ~11:30 and heard M3 throw down a funky glitchy electro set for 2 hours. the whole place was already packed and moving and i think it had a lot to do with the fact that M3 was dancing behind the decks the whole time workin the crowd. i see bt get in and set up his laptop. for 2 tracks he's setting up while watching M3 go and he's got an anxious grin on his face. bt gets on and instantly picks up on the crowd's vibe and starts getting into it. i mean i heard from others that bt sucks at interacting/connecting with the crowd, but last night he was dancing, hopping, clapping and singing along most of the time until the wind down, a 10-min long melodic interlude. he closes out and plays his final track and the crowd starts cheering. bt walks to the edge of the stage and says to the crowd that was the best set he's ever played :wtf: then he steps down from the stage to chat and take pictures for a minute or two before getting back on stage at which point everyone chants for one more. bt looks around then steps over to his laptop and drops a huge chugging electro track. Very fun night, my only complaint is it got hot as hell in there as early as midnight and the smoke machines didn't help.

Wow, damnit. I wish I was awake enough to have gone out for this. BART was even running 24/7.

Thanks for the review, I guess next time I gotta check BT out.
