hey all my GF is going to monterey bay this weekend for business and will mostlikely want to go out for some fun while there. Being from Florida she will have no clue as to where to go what to do anything, so I turn to you for help. If you could help with any bars clubs in the area im sure she could find something fun for her and her co-workers to go out. FYI they are all over 21 under 30 so anything goes.

Thanks
Hypersky
Lived there for a couple of years in the mid 90s. Don't remember much in the way of a nightlife. For non clubbing related activities, you could always check out the acquarium, 17 Mile Drive, Pacific Grove, and some of the restaurants on Franklyn and Alvarado streets.

yeah,
no nightlife. Unless you're willing to drink wine with alot of 50 somethings. That's about it.

lived there all my life until about 6 years ago, IIRC, they have club octane on saturday's and kdon (local radio station) has a comedy club however forgot what it was called. Anyways, thats about it. Have her go to SF, its only an hour away.

it basically comes down to how fast your gf drives. drivers in northern cali are SLOW! i lived there for my whole life and when i went back up there recently, compared to driving down here in southern cali they dont drive fast enough. but if she drives around 80 she should get there in about 1.5hrs.

driving 80 would be no problem for her.

haha then no big deal. just tell her to watch for cops all the time. when your going 80 you are going wayy faster than everyone at 65 (i am speaking from experience. i got 3 speeding tickets up there when i lived there. i have only gotten 1 here in southern cali cause everyone actually uses the gas and not the brake to drive.)
