Canon 20D, I was contemplating the idea of getting the 5D but realized its not so much better than the 20D, considering the price (5k$).

The only difference in Canon EOS cameras is the number of M pixels.
I couldnt care less about 5D... waste of money, unless u really need these fkn huuuuuuuuuuge posters! lol

20D is THE ideal camera for semi-professional photographer :p

or the full frame use, which is great for super wide lenses.

I'd actually take the 30D now over the 20D...it's almost the same camera but a large LCD and some minor adjustments. Should have been called 20D MKII but that's just my 2 cents :p

I don't think it's just mpixels tho...there's ISO sensitivity, speed, build quality, the amount of focus points and other manual options ;)

the most important thing for me was iso sensitivity and noise levels.

and believe it or not, the 5d and 20d/30d are exactly the same, some tests even show a slight advantage for the 20d/30d...

so its not worth it, i'll wait for a complete new generation of sensors hopefully in the next year or two.

oh, excuse me. lol
have u ever used or been thinking about setting the Sensitivity @ 3200?!
i dont think so. ;) the amount of focus points? yes, maybe 9 vs 3 makes a difference if u dont know how to use the manual focus! sepia mode? jokes
build quality? no major differences!

hehe
im not trying to be snobby, just a little bit sarcastic ;)

I mean that there's less noise usually with the higher end cameras :p especially compared to mine which is a rebel XT. :p

SNOB! ;) :toothless

The 5D is generally larger too - I personally think 350D is way too small - i have big hands and sometimes it's just plain uncomfortable - not that much different than the 20D tho.

How about THIS for focus points? ;)
