I am in the market right now for a synth ,but i want a synth that can pretty much do it all for example:

When dance music trends change from tech/trance/to dream to hard trance back to uplifting.

I just want to have one main synth that can do any genre isn't that what synths are supposed to do anyways make any sound?

Anyhow i just need some suggestions on either hardware
or soft I have most of the main soft synths ,but some have that classic sound and now im looking for one that can make new sounds
of today

i suggest a korg radias, i was looking at one but decided that i will get used to producing in reason 3.0 first and also djing is more realistic atm so im buying 2 mk3's.

so check it out, cant believe i came that close to buying my first hardware synth! oooohhhh one day i will have one!

You can change trends with any synth. Binary Finary put the minimoog lead back into dance music and by the time they did that the mini was over 20 years old.

Its especially true of today's workhorse VAs because they are so much more complex. If you can't make anything unique sounding on your softsynths or your hardware VAs, you aint doing it right. I can still get fairly unique sounds out of AR Bassline and you know how much 303s are used in dance music...

I don't know much about all the hardware synths out there, but I can say I just took a listen to the Korg Radias, and I'm blown away!!

Check out this MP3 demo done by the Radias:

Check out the site here (check out the video demo):

I don't know about you, but I think it sounds great!!

The Korg OASYS is something that can do it all, but the price tag is something like $8000 or something!!!
