There is a very very very high chance that there has been other family memebrs in his liniage that had schizophrenia... it might not have be in any living family memebers either... during my classes i've been taught that the gene that passes on schizophrenia can be dominate ( meaning it can affect numerous members of one family) or recessive.. which means it can skip an entire generation without effecting anyone and only appear once or twice in all living members
but like many ppl have said before there are many theories linking drug use to schizophrenia.. but if you say that someone else in the family had it.. i would have the say that your cousin having the disease is most likely due to the hereditary link...thats just one gals opinion though

maybe I am being the immature one here...but this is how pissed off I am. I have already lost a couple friends this year...hell I am not afraid to lose another. B/c I have come to realise you ppl are NOT the type of friends that I want in my life.
