| peter crouch is not good enough to have his own dance. his penalty against jamaica proved that hes getting a wee bit cocky. according to bbc sport, sven gave him a bit of a bollocking for that too. |

Not good enough?! What does the poor lad have to do to make people believe he's "good enough"?!

yeh he was getting a bit big for his boots so to speak,
2 of the goals he scored were crackers, but he wont get as much time on the ball when it comes down to the nitty gritty. |

I didnt say he wasnt good enough to be in the team, just not good enough to be cocky and have his own dance. I had major doubts on crouch i shall admit, over the last batch of games hes proved he is a good player. He might not be pretty to look at while hes on the ball, and u wont see him smashing them in like gerrard or dribbling the ball through the defence like joe cole, but he is effective in supporting other players and knocking in a few himself.
As said above tho, put him dog fight with a physical team full of crunching tackles and fast movement, and i think he'll be nowhere to be seen. |

This is the reason Benitez bought him for Liverpool as before last season we were being out-muscled everywhere. But he bought Crouch as he is used to the physicality of the Premiership. He is immense at holding the ball up under pressure as proved time and again for Liverpool. Due to him being quick with his feet when the 'crunching tackles' come in he is often fouled. |

He'll also get protection in the world cup. U cant get away with super hard challenges u just get carded instantly. In fact i think that could be a problem for england in general, it usually is at world cups. |
