It's been a while ago since I've posted something new
from me here.
Now, after being inspired of Markus Schulz's album
and having listened to different remixes from gabriel&dresden
... I fell in love with this kind of progressive trance.
This is my first attempt of producing something different apart from
energetic/uplifting trance (project name: Lancaster).
Sure, I love the Gabriel & Dresden remix of this one but I try to do something on my own!
Too bad that I don't know how to get the acapella of mindcircus - I love them! :(

*UPDATE*
I am proud to present you my full edit of this tune. In fact, i didn't changed the beat and the snare because i also got positive
reaction on them :toocool:
I added some vocal parts, set down the speed on 130BPM and extended the track with a break part.
Hope you will like it! :)
BPM: 130
KBPS: 256
Lenght: 3:34 min

Hi
gave it a listen.
The Beat in the beginning is quite confusing, then it disappears, and comes back. Obviously it doesnt seem to be "in rythm" ?
The breakbeat rythm is quite out of rythm as well.
Speedwise this is way too fast for progressive/breaks imho.
Should be settled around 134 BPM maximum.
Maybe slow it down a little and change the snare by a clap ?
The lead sound is quite interesting. I like it :)
Aber ich denke mal es ist eine deiner ersten Produktionen, von daher, ganz okay :) |

The beat at the beginning and the breakbeat are (apart from one drum) the same. I like them :(
I didn't know that their is a "regular" maximum speed for progressive/breaks...
The clap is used too often :toothless but i will try it with a clap.
Thanks for your honest opinion.
Ich produziere (erst?) seit etwa 1,5 Jahren mit Reason 2.5 |

the conflicting kicks sound like bad beat-matching.
ya i can't really get over that, melody sounds great, but im assuming thats from the original.
if it isn't, good on ya:) |

The melody between 0:27 and 1:09 is from the original.
I took 3 different Bassdrum lines... anyway, i like the irregular rhythm
Perhaps someone else wnat to comment on it?
Thanks for your opinion , Mr Rogers! |

Hi everyone! Another addict from Down Under here :) It's my first post too! ;)
I fell in love with this track after listening to Tiesto's ISOS 3 and I can see how you have kept some familiar elements of the original in your version. I can also see how some wouldn't like the irregular beat pattern. I listened to it about 3 times to get the full effect and feel to the track, and honestly I do like what you have done with it.
Never been a HUGE fan of breaks, but have been coming around to it a bit these last 6 months. My input would be to possibly remove one of the beats from the line and see how it comes out - not AS irregular ya know?! All in all though.. I like it :) |
