... the guy on my Avatar gets some recognition by winning the MVP award on the NBA Allstar game :p :D!! Haven't seen the game yet, but I'm convinced he deserved it.

By the way, I think the Philadelphia-crowd is really pathetic :whip:!! Come on, is that good sportmanship, booing someone that grew up there?! And what about that thing of booing Santa Claus?! VERY childish!!!

GreetZ :)

yeah, i personally thought Philly crowd sucked ass during the all-star week.. they booed everything and showed little appreciation of some talent.. booing kobe was expected though, but still shows that they're sore losers.. although I don't blame them at other times too, because they really screwed up with that new 3-on-3 competition and especially with the dumb format of the slam dunk contest..

its nothing new. philly fans are always tough. didn't they cheer when michael irvin went down with what turned out to be his career ending injury? if they don't like you, they'll let you know it.

btw i hate kobe. i like vince much better :)

vince is a f****** pus*y. that's all on that topic, if you haven't realized this, you aren't an nba fan:D

kobe alienated the philly fans when he was caught on camera, on his position on the fans in philly last year, and he SAID he doesn't really care about philly anymore and was just trying to get the lakers a championship..

they remember sh*t like that kobe, you dont wanna say that and then be all :conf: crying when they boo you:sadgreen:

why is Vince a ? Because he didnt go the slam dunk contest (was kobe there?)? Or because he attempted a layup instead of a dunk because he's playing injured? cmon. Kobe is at least the Vince is. And there weren't only the sixers-fans booing, almost every fan of another team can't stand kobe for whatever reason. he has not the respect MJ had.

BEAT LA!!!

P.S.: Portland is very scary at the moment! Whatever hapened to the Spurs?

vince carter is MR. PHANTOM INJURY.
talk to me when you see steve francis playing with migraines.

he also has NO skills to speak off, besides maybe that ugly ass fadeaway jumpshot which he'd love taking any day rather than getting to the free throw line, and the other 80% of his points come off one dribble drives to the hoop, jumping, and hanging around until everyone else falls to the ground, and throwing up some garbage.

admittedly its sometimes pretty.. but with the game on the line... its simply pathetic. i'll take t-mac anyday.

oh yeah, call me win the raptors when a game

Ugh, first time I see a Vince Hater:D Im by no means of him, but when Shaq the big crybaby Shaq sits out games because of his lame toe why should you call vince the . Besides his athletic ability which he shows not so much in this year he has a decent three-point shot. If 100 % he is one of the premier players in the NBA and you see how good Toronto is without him@fullstrength.

Anyway: any notes if Kobe get suspended for one game after blowing a girlie punch to Reggie "the trash talker" miller? BTW: I like Reggie but he had to step up yesterday and he failed.

thing is, you can't hate on shaq, because he's arguably the best center to ever play the game. maybe you'd have a point saying chamberlain or russell.. (or walton, haha;))
vince is athletic, and has a decent 3 for sure, but he relies on it WAY too much... horrible shot selection.. why doesnt slash to the hoop more like iverson, he'd get the calls. and he'd get to the line.

but no, he's scared of getting hurt.. which may be the reason he also DOESN'T (can't?) play defense.

i dont hate him, he's just waaay overhyped.

*sigh* well the Raps are certainly stinking up the joint recently.. 11 games down the toilet :(

I have to agree with you on vince's style of play though.. too many impossible circus shots (and pointless jumpers) when he should be driving to the basket more. Oh well, next year I suppose...
cweb
Ok I agree with you that he should move more to the basket, especially on the raptors who rely way too much on their jumpshooters these days. And its also rigth that he is (or was) overrated but that's the case with almost every 6-6 athletic guard. look jason richardson. Ok he seems to have a nice season so long, but he is no way the caliber of vince, tmac or kobe. Unfoortunately I have just saw one game of GS (thanx to an ubelievable miserable game selection of DSF, a german tv), but I have seen several of his games @MSU especially 2 in the last march madness. And there he had absoltutely NO shot whatever. He may have worked @it, but I dont think his shot come even close to the likes of Vince, Kobe, Tmac, etc.

Btw: March Madness is coming...go Alabama and wake up boy called Rod Grizzard!
