Personally, I purchase my stuff from a local Music Equipment shop.. others buy from Guitar Centre in the States, etc etc... |

where's a good place to get equip in calgary (specifically ecler)
i'm moving there in august and want to buy a new mixer... plus i save 7% on tax!!! |

The two main shops in Calgary are Axe Music and Long & McQuade..
I prefer Axe, only because I have bought almost all of my gear from there and know the guys there.. I was just there tonight actually. ;) |

| axe will get you fixed up, they also have price matching with local stores and canadian online shops if i'm not mistaken |

| If your from Canada my rule of thumb is to buy all your equipment from the states because our dollar is so high and yet the US prices are still low compared to the stuff up here (For techs it is around 800 here and in the US I have seen it for 500$). |

theyll make him pay duties which wont really make a huge difference. id say Ebay or Axemusic <--- Great to deal with |
