I do think this thread deserves some follow up:
-It's been 3 years since Curly made the original post
-DJ Luxor has a NEW-er Myspace page for us all to enjoy

-His DJ Bio post still has many interesting things to say... but nothing as ridiculous as it used to. Justin Timberlake friendship, Vegas clubs / hosts throwing him 'welcome home' parties. etc.
-He's at least 21 years old now, as he does have pics from inside Vegas nightclubs... some of which, he's actually DJ'ing with some guy named DJ Vegas Vibe. :eek:

I've played with DJ Vegas Vibe before at Empire Ballroom in Las Vegas and Club Vegas in OC. Vegas Vibe is a nice guy. He used to go by a different name before. I think it was just DJ Vibe when he first moved to Las Vegas or maybe a different name. I remember getting a CD from him outside Drais back in early 2000. I think he is from the East Coast.
I've never heard about DJ Luxor except through this thread. |

I guess that was such a bogus story that he couldn't follow up with more regarding his professional bobsled training for the olympics. I'm sure he just gave up as soon as he took this picture at some random alpine slide place. Probably in Big Bear, CA.

Yes, I too re-read the entire thing from start to finish... It's kinda 'meh' until Luxor himself jumps in! He totally avoids legitimate questions by saying he's going on a date with a Brazilian girl.. and signed a 6 figure record contract. I must have missed that big album release.
I'm almost tempted to befriend him, and hang out with a hidden camera or something. Me:"Luxor, what's with this 1989 honda accord?" Luxor: "Well, when I broke the speed of sound in my Lambo I had to send it in for a new paint job. I'll have it back in 6 months, don't worry" |
