it all started when i heard the martin roth remix of blank&jones' "catch".
the mix was fine, but i just couldn't find a way to like the vocals they used for this production.

so, lucky me, i found the accapella on the net and here it is.
enjoy this appetizer, the full version will be online within this week!

feedback would be greatly appreciated!

the Ferry remix still stands in my book..

fenomenal drive.. typical german trance sound, percussions and bass is lovely, the bass progression is unpredictable and its really cool..

breakdown:

i prefer Ferry`s hook over this one, but its not bad and will prolly crush any dancefloor.. looking forward to full track..

and i wish u skipped the Rework tag.. remix is so much more suitable imo

nice work so far John, although, i wouldn't dare to remix this track after hearing the fantastic Ferry Corsten remix:)

i don't like the buildup synth in your remix, but i guess it's just personal preference, otherwise sounds cool so far mate, i think you have to add some fxes in places, looking forward to hear the final version!:)

cheers,
Peter

the synth-buildup sounds not so good because i've opened the lp-filter to fast. thats why you don't really hear any developement in the sound itself.

i already added a filtered and very silent pad in the background when the vocals are running.
and i didn't use much fx yet, that's right ;)

but i'm glad you like it a little bit :)

nice one. but maybe you should change some sounds. e.g. the buildup-synth. sounds standard. nothing special.
IF you choose this tune for remixing, you should bring us a massive bomb. the remake of blank & jones is sooooo terrible.
i'm loving ferry's interpretation. but nowerdays, someone should make a remix such as the evelation-style. or something this way.
but let's talk about your remix.
i like the thin pads in the backround. maybe you should try to give them more deeper frequencies.
well, we'll see, looking forward to the full version.
hope, you won't use a simple standard-refrain-synthie ;) :D

kinda hard to bring you guys a bomb after the excellent ferry corsten remix.
but i'll see what i can do ;)
thanks for listening!
