ok guys, i know, my mixer is a POS, but it's what i got for the time being. ok so my question is, i am mixing with this:
http://sixstardj.com/nudxpromi1.html and 1200's...
assuming my beatmatching is perfect, and the songs go well togethor, i can't get always get the smooth transitions that i want. when i mix the high/mid/lows in and out, it doesn't always sound so good. just recently i listened to RD- i hate computers, and that is smooth as a baby's bottom. so...do the EQ's on a mixer like mine suck ass? and if i get a better mixer, will it make a diffrence? well obviously it will, but ya... thanks guys!:conf: |

You just need more practice. |

There's nothing wrong with that mixer at all.
More practice is probably what you need.. |

if i can manage smooth mixes on this:
(ok so not always, but its not THAT hard)
then your mixer should do fine. just don't do the mistakes i did, don't expect it to act like a XONE:92. treat it like it is. if the fader sucks ass and only reacts in the top 2cm of the line, well, then adapt to that. eventually, once you master your low-end mixer, mixing on big boy gear will be a breeze. |
