Paranoid Americanized Canadians say "phew,we stopped one more murderous muslim"...
People are so paranoid...you can either beleive that we stopped an impending attack or we crucified muslim Canadians, out of fears created in a post(bull) 9/11 world.

beleive exactly what makes you sleep at night, they've caught the muslims, spectacular.
hopefully this is a start of a revolution that has clearly only perpetuated further violence in the united states, with any luck soon, we'll turn an Indian reserve into guantanamo bay, and put all of Canada's dirty secrets into it.
since you are an expert in speculation, why exactly would Muslim Canadians target Canadians landmarks, why? or does that matter to you. INstead of understanding the root cause, and eventually a solution, you want a political sleep aid that makes you safe at night. |

I still don't see WHY you are so skeptical that arrests were warranted? Do you have *that* condescending and dismissive an opinion towards a long-term investigation? Like CSIS, the RCMP and other police forces have nothing better to do than to say "hey, let's over a bunch of innocent Muslims!"

You think just because we're living in Canada we get an automatic Muslim extremist exemption card or something?? lol!
If you're pissed because they 'happen to be Muslim' that's just tough .
But just so you know, so I can sleep at night, I don't care what race, creed or religion they are, CSIS and the RCMP did their job and the evidence looks pretty overwhelming at this point.
As for the paper and their sad stories about the family members being accosted by the media, they should have known better.
If they're such a close knit community then they should have known what was going on and reported it to the authorities to begin with therefore I have no sympathy for them, sorry.
The potential horrific averted disaster simply outweighs any symathy for them in that regard no matter how many times they cry, "racial profiling" and don't you dare fall for it. |
