View this Thread in Original format
Greedy
"Hello,
Thank you for your e-mail.
My units are brand new in original factory box,all accessories are included with 1 year full warranty from the manufacturer.
The product can be bought now at the price of 750usd/unit.
When it comes to the shipping and handling, I will pay them because the package is delivered from Europe.
Shipping is something you shouldn't worry about because I believe it is my
responsibility to deliver the items safely to your home.
I will use UPS 2days air service (with insurance and 15 days return policy).
The payment I accept is Western Union money transfer.
I chose Western Union's as a payment method because they have always served our
needs in a professional manner. We consider promptness a vital condition of the modern
e-Commerce market.
If you are interested to buy this product ,we can make this transaction through
eBay and is 100%safe for both. For our protection we will do this deal trough ebay and our transaction will be supervised by eBay Safe Harbour Team.
Thank's and if you agree with my terms please mail me ASAP."

This is the pic he submitted to me after my request with original filename. I am hosting the pic on my server.

Run for the hills.

Western union? No ing chance.

I bet he has an AOL email address right? Link me to the auction please and I will investigate.

Scam.
Greedy
if this is a scam, this one sounds really tempting since he wants to go through EBAY and Western Union.

Does anyone have any experience with being scammed while using Western Union and/or EBAY? Would I be able to get my money back, etc?
Freak
Auction/seller link please.
Greedy
yea normally i would think this is a huge scam because:

1. His email is DJElectromix@aol.com
2. Price is unbelieveable
3. Its coming from "Europe," (not that I dont trust Europeans)
4. He wants to pay for shipping. . .

Freak

Greedy
I believe his user name is DJElectromix

I asked him to relist his Xone:92 back on EBAY so we can check him out.
Freak
right gimme 5 mins

edit: no user listed uner that name...... closest match is ' djelectrix' and hes not a seller past or present- only a buyer, so im thinking its not him

i think that answers your questions right there.

and even if it were legit, it would not come with a warranty, so he's also a liar.

Freak
No ebay account has the registered email address of DJElectromix@aol.com

?

(i know ebay inside and out- im a power seller ;) )

All i need is a fairly recent item number, or a user name.
Greedy
ill wait for the dude to email me back with the EBAY link.

I did some research on Western Union and they dont provide very much, if any, protection. Instead they recommend only using Western Union with people you know.
