Toronto to severely restrict underground parking?

I was watching the news and they were saying that some politicians are calling for severe restrictions on public underground parking thanks to the terrorism BS. Special passes would be issued and only employees of those buildings could park. No customer parking would be allowed. They said that in theory, this could raise lot parking charges up to about $50 per day.

If this happens we can kiss toronto good bye. Because I along with pretty much everyone else will never come downtown again.

won't happen...the business community would *never* stand for it.

how much more can we lose. scheisse!

on so many levels this is a load of crap, this would never happen.
Matt
terrorists in Canada!? never!

We can kiss Toronto goodbye? You'll never come downtown again?

What are you doing downtown that depends so heavily on underground parking?

This would never happen anyway. It's just silly kneejerk reaction stuff.

i hope it doesnt happen but the fact that they are talking about it is ridiculous.

Kiss toronto good bye? Yes i would. I barely want to come downtown at $15 parking never mind $50. And its not like the TTC is the way to go either.

we either lose toronto from terrorists, or to the crash of the economy. I say we take our chances.

Are we really going to let these idiots control our lives.
MarkT
