DJ Sasha, one of the most well-known and respected DJ’s in the world, takes the decks at crobar for his party FUNDACIÓN. The famed DJ delivers his legendary sets on a new custom-built controller allowing him to remix and produce live in front of his fans. Sampling and looping is taken to another level while fusing elements from multiple songs all at once. Sasha takes elements from across the spectrum of electronic dance, trance, breaks, progressive and deep house to create a hypnotic liquid groove unlike anything else in the world. Joining Sasha will be Satoshi Tomiie. Tomiie is Japan's most successful international DJ and House producer. Besides his proven talents as a DJ, producer / artist and musician, Tomiie is finding international recognition as the label owner of SAW. crobar is very excited to have Satoshi back. Don’t forget to pick up his newest album, 3D on Renaissance, available in stores everywhere. James Lavelle (UNKLE) has made big waves in the dance music scene as a DJ, a producer, and with his label, Mo’ Wax. With contributions from DJ Shadow, Mike D (Beastie Boys), and Thom Yorke, UNKLE’s debut album, “Psyence Fiction” became the alternative dance record that James had always envisioned. Also tonight, crobar goes one step further to support the newest rising stars of the dance music world - check out the local DJ artist showcase: the Flawless Sound of crobar in the Reed Room from 10 PM to Midnight. This week’s featured artists are Zack Roth & Keryn. Don’t miss Tommy Virtue mixing it up with rock n’ roll, hip-hop, and house after the DJ showcase in the Reed Room.
