Are there any TA DJs who spin in the Washington D.C. area? I'm not talking about places like FUR/GLOW, but more along the lines of Lima, Dragonfly, Chi Cha Lounge, etc. Small places that have live music, usually house/progressive trance.
If there are any ... i have an odd request - ive been listening to house/trance/etc. for ages, and im thinking about starting to get into spinning myself. however, before i spend $1000s+ on decks, mixer, monitors, etc. I was wondering if i could tag along with any TA DJs for a few nights a month when they're spinning live, just to see it up close, to make sure i really want to commit.
I could help setup, get drinks, do your bidding, etc.
thanks, i appreciate it! :) |

+1
InnerDC is such a GREAT resource for the DC local Scene (GREEDY is the creator btw so you've come to the right place!!!)...the Admins there are currently regular local djs and they spin other genres besides trance. I know because Im friends with them and have seen them in action.
Actually I have to commend them on their planning, networking and organization. They have managed to organize their own schedules of regular weekly gigs at many local intimate venues (Zaaza, Shisha to name two). So definitely hit them up!!! not only will you get a taste of the scene, you will also have the potential of meeting a SUPERB krew of people!!! :toothless
:tongue2 |

not true. i rarely ever go to nation yet house music is everywhere else i go...
why don't you just move to ny if you hate dc so much? besides, we get ALL the same djs that new york does...so i'm not sure why you are complaining so much all the time. |

Ive played at Dragonfly, Nation, Andalu, Japone etc.
With the exception of Joel and Beema, all the active DJs on iDC have played at Nation at least once. |
