guys... I sincerely apologize for not making it last night...
Digweed got the best of me with only 2 hours of sleep going into Saturday. Needless to say I was done for early evening last night.
I will make it to a show eventually... I promise. |

Dont sweet it Andy and Yuris, everytime I see you guys spin you just get better and better, the mixing gets tighter and tighter, and each night has a different sound to them and all 3 have fit Narcisse perfectly!
Bobby awesome set you should have been headling Localized! Mili I caught the last couple of your tracks, had alot of door issues at Vision and had to sort them out, we'll have to get a drink at the Armin show! Nice meeting and talking with you Jennifer. Yeah and part of the reason I left was because of JC, I just just wasnt in the mood for those cheesy ass-fist pumping "im gonna take off your skirt" tracks, I did try and get a Johnny Chaos chant going but only Ruben was with me!:stongue:
P.S.- Pat and I saw some ed up last night:nervous: |

There were a few "im gonna take off your skirt" tracks - I'll give you that much - but there were also a good number of really good darker club tracks that I REALLY liked - the kind that make me go nuts. Also a couple of breakbeat tracks that were really good. Yes, I am sticking up for Johnny Chaos. :)

wait, some stuff is coming back to me
this is going to be one of those stream of thought reviews
i recall being asked to DJ at a swingers party and being given a packet of lube
narcisse show was a disaster in my perspective in terms of equipment and equipment malfunctions
vision show was the best show i ever played so far
i think i drank more last night than this entire month put together so far
my head kinda hurts
thank you to everyone who came out to see us and stuck it out :)

Thanks as always Neil. I honestly thought my mixing was fine, other than one track @ the 2nd Narcisse show and I was perfectly fine for the first 5 tracks I played this Sat., but I lost all my concentration and started drinking heavily once the power went out, so the rest of my performance wasn't as good after. I heard this was supposed to be an "extended set" so I was preparing to build up after open bar was to end, but that's right where the power went off. The rotary mixer they made us use wasn't so bad now that I know how to use it, except that I can't mix songs in using headphones and the monitor due to hearing loss in one ear. Next time I'm bringing my own mixer and I will kill them if the power goes out, they wont let me use the mixer, CDs are not available or if they demand we play disco music! Vision & Pure rocked though, actually using a Pioneer we were dead on, with the exception of trying to mix in Chab way too fast.

Couldn't agree more on Bobby & sorry we missed most of your set Mili due to the door. They wouldn't even let Yuris and me cross over at first. :(

I was hyped screaming Johnny Chaos too ;) Our first production is going to be called "I wanna do you in the basement of a posh restuarant"
