A question for those who are the scene now

Another thread Iv been looking at brought this question on.
Iv been out of the 'scene' for a while so to speak but I remember that when I used to go out more regularly and when I was dj'ing that although Trance music was an important element of the night I also used to use and indeed listen to some progressive and hell even some disco-funk if it fitted the vibe of the night.
You good people who are the scene now, when you go out clubbing is it specifically Trance you wanna hear at the club or are you willing to go with the flow if it feels good.
An example Im think of would be the Chemical Brothers 'out of control'.....if that were to be dropped into a set that was 'Trance' how would it go down in a club enviroment?
Cheers

Christ when I'm out clubbing on a general night out I just wanna hear some huge tunes that throw me, yes, most probable electro house/trance but sometimes epic rock anthems such as blur - song 2.
Ofcourse I got to see certain artists especially and trance is what I expect, nothing less but I always love the variation.
To date, the track that has been most unexpected on a night out in my whole life was the drill - the drill that was played at a small local club that nearly made me explode! |

So typical...:p
I like to keep it very varied... Some house nights, some hip hop nights, psy raves every once and a while, maybe a trance thing here and there, this way I never get burned out or annoyed. Whatever's happening! |
