Honestly, it's a sound I've come to appreciate as "street". I admit it's often times amateur yet I find it's rawness/passion to be so creative.

(agreed, it's production level can't hold a candle to Dre on the West or RZA on the East, but it's so nice to have another sound these days)

I haven't listened to hip hop in 3-4 years, and i used to be such a head.

What a happy 3-4 years it's been. Most hip hop is such nowadays.

I have no patience to listen to the garbage that gets airplay on radios and in clubs.

A close friend of mine who lives/breathes/eats hip hop thinks this LP is garbage. Personally I think it's brilliant. Minimal beats, and his MC'ing is tight 95% of the time. I think he's so ahead of his time, fack.
