Hello,
I am an Engineering student at Northeastern University in Boston. It is very rare that I get a break from school work because my class scheduale is extreamly packed.
Currently I am working at a summer internship at an Engineering firm in the city. It's hard for me to go out on weekends because sometimes I have to go in on saturdays. My girlfriend as well has a hard time going out on weekends also because she works at a doctors office and has to work 3 saturdays a month.
Due to this we missed almost all of the Ferry L.E.F. Events at Crobar. We are both long time EDM fans, especially fans of Ferry Corsten. We love many of his tracks, Mode Confusion, Out of the Blue, Punk, Galexia, Fire.
We would greatly appreciate being invited to this party as it is easier for us to get out sometimes during the week then it is on the weekends because of our work loads,

You know, I had this big long thing I had typed up after that post that barosoap convinced me to delete. After that little comment, I'll post it:
"BTW, I've heard through the grapevine that some people thought I attacked yankeebaby in the now locked "nyc is lame" thread. I don't really get where the hell people got that notion. I just said that i thought private parties like this were lame (even though I'm going), because it doesn't give opportunities for some people, who are huge fans, to attend. I said that industry people and DJ whores (term used because that's what we call them, I even said no offense) are the ones who go. When I said "How'd you get an invite," Konijn seemed to get what I meant, but it flew over others' heads, so I got bitched at there.
Some of you need to stop constantly thinking I'm trying to provoke a fight and taking every word I type in the worst possible context."
In other words, get off my ass if you want to misinterpret what I say. No wonder I'm angry all the time, because I get attacked any time I criticize something. I wasn't pissed I wasn't going, as I knew barosoap had already emailed people and chances were good that we were going. I was saying that it sucked that others, not myself, who maybe deserved to go would not be able to. I NEVER said anything critical of those going, so lay off. |

I don't love private parties (and need a ticket!) but I do know there are enough TA's alone to fill cielo. Even on a tuesday night. Ferry has too many fans, what's a guy to do.
Sucks that "small and intimate" can't let everyone in.. |

This is the only thing I am talking about. I didn't even care about what you said about "industry-ness." It just doesn't make sense that you talk about the lameness of these parties, but now you are going.
Thus, I proposed that you give your ticket to these "fans" you speak about that would love to go. Chill out, it was only a suggestion parallel with what you stated.
I am not offended or mad and never was. So maybe you ought to look at yourself and stop being so defensive. :rolleyes: |
