| Is anyone gonna mention anything about the virgin venue with the later closing time Devin hinted to. Devin, is this supposed to be a hint? Is something in the works? I don't care who the dj is or how much it cost, I just wanna know. |

I'm not going to PvD. For the price of PvD I can see Seb Fontaine and Armin Van Buuren within the same week. The last few times PVD came to Atlanta his show failed to impress me with respect to what he does in Europe (and my definition of impressive is his Coloursfest set from a few weeks back..OMFG!!!)
Does he just not like Atlanta?
Are we just another gig to him?

| Sorry, but no he didn't. Not in a way he braught it in Europe. I was all pumped up from listening his latest sets before I went to see him in November and it was nothing like the stuff on his sets. It was good, but not the best I've heard. So i have to agree with phonk64. None-the-less, I will be there this Thursday with a couple of my co-workers. I never give up hope for a good PvD set. :D |

+1... I agree 100%... I have seen PVD 5 times in the past 16 months. November was the worst of the bunch!!! He was better on April 15, 2005 when he played here then he was in November. He was MUCH better in NYC in March then I have EVER heard him here. Will I go and see him this week? It has been months since I have been to the club (if you do not count RITM because I did not stay long enough to count, ty ass set!!!)... Nope, I think I am going to save myself for Armin and spend Thursday playing a PVD set from the good ol' days and watching Girls Gone Wild. I will still accomplish getting my teenie bopper T&A fix but the music will be better and I will not drop $100!!! |
