If we would make a poll with those dj's, than Ferry Corsten is going to win because:
He's the most famous one, some of those dj's are unknown to me and he has the best style (in my opinion) |

here's my Tiesto logic..
Tiesto has consistently put out good stuff, not just whatever he's playing at the moment. Yes, he does smile and jump around or whatever which is nice to see once in a while rather than someone who has that "just another gig" look. Second, although he is playing some older tracks in his set, i think a lot of his touring (at least in N. America) is aimed at getting some exposure where not many people know who he is (as opposed to say, paul van dyk). A lot of the American crowd (except true trancE Addicts) hasn't heard a lot of these songs yet. It may be somewhat akin to a group touring in support of an album; the majority of the tracks played are gonna be from that "album" with some other stuff thrown in so it isn't stale... |

whats so good about tiesto?.. cos he smiles when he's doing a set at a club?... i mean like, all the songs in his recent sets are old and he just keeps on playing them!!.. he hasn't pushed his sets into un-known territory by playing new tracks! |
Hey there, I just want to say that I was at a club last friday where Tiësto performed and he was not boring at all! He always used to play the softer records with all the melodies, but this time he played some stunning progressive records and he really got me going! It was something new for him I guess, cuz I agree with you that he play almost the same sets most of the time.
Anyway, you should've heard him; it rocked!!!
