| Microsoft publically released the Windows Vista Beta 2 today. You will need a Microsoft Live ID as well as 1.0 GHz processing power, 512 MB RAM, DirectX9. Check it out by visiting MS' Vista site, but beware, servers have been swamped all day. |

| My mates office has been running Vista for the last couple of months and from what he says it's pretty nice and stable but you need lots and lots of processing power and ram to make it run smoothly though. |

just started downloading it now, looking forward to trying this out :)
i'm going to buy another hard drive and install it on that so i can keep my XP setup seperate just in case (would of partitioned but not enough space).
p.s i noticed if you select the 'downlaod with your own download manager' it's just a direct link that seems to always work, unlike the 'Akamai Download Manager' version. |

| I'd have to say I'm sceptical mainly because of all of the bugs & holes there usually are. Until this is proven to be stable & solid & compatible, i'll give it a miss |
