Stanton ST-150 discontinued ???

i've been waiting almost 3 months since i made my first order for stanton st-150 at one of my local online stores. then, around a month ago i was told that unfortunatelly the incoming lot from stanton didn't include the st-150s. so i was offered to wait another month and a half so they could receive a pair of st-150 specially for me. now they tell me that not so long ago they were told (from the manufacturing plant) that the st-150 are no longer supplied because they cost as much as Techs 1200mk2 and arn't sold that well. (im not going to comment on that)
so i email stanton company, ask em about this crap, asking them if the ST-150 is discontinued and entirely replaced by the new T-120C.
in the first message they just sent me a link to my country's authorized dealer. then i asked them specifically about the ST-150 being discontinued. they replied that "the ST8-150 is still in production." period. WTF i say? W T F ??? :nervous: :nervous: :nervous: |

| First Ive heard... I seriously doubt if Stanton would discontinue there only deck to be taken seriously... If they have then there morons... My best guess is that its just the store that has discontinued the deck and they just don't know whats going on around them. |

| well its my understanding Stanton don't even manufacture them. Aren't they an OEM deck so it and a heap of other brands come out of the same factory? |

That's partially true I think. I believe the motor and the general layout is OEM in design. |

| yeah probably not discontinued but they are frequently on back order. |

The Blue one is for sure discontinued. That was the 2004 model of the ST/STR8-150. Now they are Greyish Black. |

Yeah I hated the way they had different colours for the st and the str-8...
The new look of the 150's is so much sexyer... Can't really say the same about all there other stuff though. |

dunno bout that - i've the st150(blue) and i've yet to see a nicer lookin deck. the black one isn't a patch on it. |

the bright blue sucks.
The dark blue are one of the sexiest decks going around
oh, and i don't think the dark blue are discontinued (maybe for STR8s), seeing I bought mine in January and the same shop are still advertising using the dark blues. I think the STR8s are the only ones you can get in grey. |

I'm pretty sure it's discontinued. The website that you ordered from just might have some older stock left over. Besides the color change there is nothing different between the '04 and later models. |
