yay, the blind fanboys have arrived.
i don't see poland troubling germany, but that has nothing to do with the scorelines. it's the complete lack of attitude and offensive creativity from the polish players. germany should go through, but need to improve on that defence or they won't go far in the knockout stages, i guarantee that. |

The germans should definetly worry about the defence, and I hope they improve it because they could go far if they keep that offensive play.
Even though I'm not a fan of Germany, I still want them to go pretty far in this tournament, but the pressure is tremendous. |

you're clearly talking as a fan, ... you can't deny that Germany's biggest problem is the fact they have a pretty shaky defense, this has been a problem for a long time and was already said (and seen) at the confederations cup. This time they could pull the victory thanks to their 'forwards' but against a better offensive side I think they'll have it more difficult to manage.
I don't think they'll lose against Poland because that team doesn't really have enough offensive power. I just think it will be a diffciult match. Poland WILL perform better, Why? Because they will try everything to avoid something like WC 2002. |

sadly with it being a big tournament, we're always going to get the people who either want to stir or are too blind to see the real picture. I think anyone (incl german fans) will say that their defence was more than a little suspect, and against the big teams, that will let them down |

There's nothing wrong with being a fan, but when you deny things like that, which is very obvious, It's very clear that you're a fanboy.
You know, you can support your team very much even though you're criticizing it. This is the way things improve, and this is the way you get a great team to play together. Now, I'm sure the atmosphere on the team is great, but some things is just to obvious.

i mean any football fan that has seen Germany since the confed cup knew this teams defence just wasnt that good...Along with Spain, Germany is gonna have a tough cup in the back.
