is it possible to connect two keyboards to a single computer (one usb, one ps/2)? im sure that i can do that and have both keyboards working. is there any way for me to choose which one is the default though? i assume the ps/2 keyboard would take precedence over the usb one. would both keyboards be seen as seperate, or would they act as one? im trying to figure out a way to use a second keyboard for ableton live instead, would make things much easier for me until i can get a midi controller.
basically will i be able to connect two keyboards to my computer, use one of the keyboards for certain keys, use the other keyboard for other keys, all within ableton live? |

damn, i went through all that work of moving my desk and finding adapters. oh well. the keyboard looks great, but i dont think it'd meet my needs. i just basically want the keyboard i have now to have all the default hotkeys and shortcuts in ableton, then the second one set up for any specialized controls i would want (eq kills, launch samples, etc). oh well, i'll figure something out |

| oh if u mean assigning different keys from each keyboard, i thnk that might work. |

i pretty much want one keyboard as the computer keyboard, used for anything typing related. the other keyboard though, i would only be using in ableton, it would pretty much replace a midi controller, just instead of using a midi port, it would use the usb port. if i can find the rest of the adapters i need, ill try to get it working. |

if your idea works, do tell...just seems a bit over complicated. |
