hi im a 56k user :(
well, how can i keep my internet connection on 24/7?
it seems as tho if i leave my computer on overnight (downloading live sets, etc..) my internet connection gets interrupted...
is there are way where my computer will automatically reconnect whenever an internet connection is not present?
i dont have GayOL so thats not the problem <=- earthlink usar :D
is there a program that will keep my internet connection on?
when it disconnects it trys to redial but then it says...
your internet connection has been disconnected will you like to reconnect? yes or no...
^^^^ how do i set my computer, using programs or control panel, etc, to get rid of this box and automatically reconnect?

I think getright (the download manager) has a built in internet conection thingy, which does reconnect if a conection gets lost.
There is a way of doing this in windows, but i cant remember how, ill try to have a play with my settings and if it works ill let you know

What operating system do you use? Try this little program:
http://hcidesign.com/foreverconnected/
basically just redials whenever there's no connection until you disable to the program.
Doesn't work on win2k though (:() or XP (as far as I know). |

I remember spending 3 hours browsing the net trying to find a good program to do that...but no results....
