Pool/Biljart Balls?

my friend and i went playing pool for about 2 hours and it started to get boring, so i came with this strange question out of nowhere... what are the balls made of? is it plastic? some kind of stone? we both couldnt figure out what it was made of... got any ideas?
also i didnt post for a few days because our internet was down.. but anyway who gives a if i post or not.

Nice to know how serious you are at work now that you are employed full time :D
I like to play 9-ball, i find it much more interesting than 8-ball. Snooker is ok but im not playing that again until i buy a good cue. Playing snooker with bent and/or broken cues is hell. |
