winamp vs media player

ive used winamp for the last several years.
thought about making a switch to teh media player.
what u guys use ??

Ive been hooked on a program called VonDerSound (VDS). Similar to winamp. Just not as clunky and only takes up about 1/15th of the memory that winamp does. No bells and whistles... just a raw player. |

| I am using Winamp 2.8, which is old school, really. It keeps spamming me to update, but I love how 2.8 has some good plugins and doesn't hog resources. I highly recommend it. |

| iTunes. I would use something else, but this is the only one I know that organizes songs into folders |

Well, I can't say for 100% that it takes less. I can, however, say that on my aging Athlon XP1600+ that it (2.8) drags my system down less than anything higher. Sponsor me a new system! :D |

| yeh winamp 2.8 is much more simpler than 5.x. i use 2.8 at work, and 5.x at home (mainly coz the skins are cool). |

| I've used winamp since 1999, and it's still the best imo. Itunes and WMP are clunky and use up excessive recourses and do lame things...so keep it real with winamp...hmm 60mins til i leave for digweed @ Ruby Skye....hahahahhaha suckersssss |
