Looks like it's all done. Iran really went downhill in the 2nd half (well, they started going downhill after like 20 minutes but it was more obvious in the 2nd) and are disappointing me a lot. Completely let Mexico dominate the match.

sigh...

amazing first half, even though the first rush against mexico should have been a penalty kick. ( honestly referee made some really stupid calls )

second half was just so boring, Mexico did good.Iran's defence was a joke...I seriously hope they pick it up.

over all an okay game, both sides played really well first half.

This was a very even game with a lot of great players participating.

Mexico really has the potential to win this cup, and they've got several players who's really good. They've also got a lot of different players, types of players that is.

Franco probably got injured because he was substituted, on came Naelson who passed to the second goal after fatal misstakes by Irani defenders, and then scored 3-1 on a beautiful header.

Omar Bravo should be given all credit for the goals he scored, and Rafael Marquez was great in the defence.

Iran lost on their own misstakes, that hurts to see, especially when they played so well in the first half. But the second one wasn't the same, and they lost everything. To bad they allowed that second goal though where they had triple unluck.

Bad pass by Mirzapour, then a bad touch from an Irani defender, and finally Mirzapour slips and Omar Bravo scores 3-1.

what did I tell you guys in the group thread, I knew Iran coudnt handle Mexico for a full 90 minutes
I have alot of mexican friends but I hate the team with a passion but Imhappy to see them win today. The players gathering around Sanchez at the end crying, man that was somethin.

Indeed.

Iran was playing very well defensively until that goal, even though the second half was boring. So yes, It hurts very much to see those kind of misstakes.. :(
