Quick observations from the match:
1-) Portugal possibly played the most boring half of football I've ever seen in the 2nd half.
2-) Figo still has it, although he disappeared for stretches in the 2nd half.
3-) Pauleta needs to assert himself MUCH more than he did in this game. Other than the first ten minutes of the game and one chance in the 2nd half, he was completely invisible.
4-) C. Ronaldo needs to seriously stop WHINING!! His body language is revolting every time things don't go his way. For 's sake, play football and stfu!!!
5-) Angola's defense wasn't too bad. Take away the first 10 minutes and the game was more or less even. Their offense sucks though and they need to stop taking long distance bombs and get some people in the box to have a chance. |

They didn't have much technical skills to generate anything in Portugal's half, though that may be due to seemingly slippery conditions.
Oh yes. Portuguese players going down whenever Angola players look at them hard. Haven't changed much, have they. |

| Angola is bad in dribbling, that's why they kept on shooting the ball outside the box |

You're right fast, but an alternative strategy is to put some men in the box and start sending it in on crosses or long passes. They're a physical team, so it wouldn't surprise me if they won some of the aerial battles. At the very least, they might poach a goal if the ball lands in the box after a failed clearing attempt on a long ball. I don't see them scoring any other way. |

Kalanga is a great dribbler, he shown that in the friendly against Turkey. Other than that, well, agreed.
We really need to settle on a midfield. Deco needs to come back, Costinha needs to be in the lineup and pick the other guy for once Scolari. |

Even tho 24 was on multi start on sky one tonight I decided to turn the football off to watch it at the normal time.
Yet another shocking game. |

This math is easy: two more 1-0 wins and we're first place. the whiners.
So, we didn't play that well, so we didn't score 30 thousand goals like it was predicted... I always said: "one goal is enough". And it was.
Now... bring on Iran!! |
