SO i have a pretty decked out system in my blazer and never realized the difference having distortion-free speakers and a good subwoofer makes until yesterday. My buddy who is as big a EDM fan as I am picked my up for the night and we cruized in his stock subaru listening to my favorite ipod playlist But the music simply did not sound the same. It was much less enjoyable and the 'feel' of trance was lost.
Do you guys have systems in you vehicle? What a difference it makes!!!

Panasonic deck w/ video screen
4 infinity kappa series speakers
2 stock tweeters

I agree but I spend enough time in my car that the $1000 was worth it. also car audio is so much cheaper than home, i felt it was pennies after spending so much on a home system.

$700 will get you a nice setup if you shop around enough.
ide recommend speding some time on www.ecoustics.com and their car forum, there are guys there that know more about car audio than members here that know EDM. |

I'll disagree. My dad has well over 30k put into his stereo system in our living room. And I can say, when comparing to the system in my car, which I only spend 1.5k on, it does pretty damn good, it doesn't rival it, but it does good.
Personally I think it's where the speakers are positioned in my car that makes it sound so good. And the subs just kick ass.
Unfortunately, my CD player is on it's last legs, so I'm going to buy an MP3 player, very soon, with a voice recorder. :) |

no doubt. Ill have to take pics of my dads set up and post them when I got over to serbia this summer. his system is kickass. good enough for a small club.
