Most of us have grown up with the Internet. Its no secret that its anonymity has a certain appeal. Sometimes we'd say or do things on it that we wouldn't in real life because we feel there won't be repercussions.
TA in particular is a certain community that is apart from most of this. The people here share links to the outside world so what is done here can impact the real lives of others.
Some things jennypie said not too long ago have had such impacts for me (nothing serious but still). No they were NOT true, they were FALSE accusations. I've asked B&B to confirm this and he said he would but its no surprise that he doesnt want to have much to do with any of it as well he shouldn't have to. The skeptical can talk to B&B themselves but hes been put in a situation he shouldn't have been all thanks to jennypie. Anyway, you're ing retarded if you would even consider such trash to be true.
I'd like to thank Wicked Neo for being a great sport and helping me clear this mess up. Neo gave jennypie an ultimatum of either providing evidence (which there is none of) or posting a public apology or suffering consequences if she refused. She has apparently fled for the hills since, without giving an answer, as she hasn't posted on TA since last weekend.
Some things needed to be waited on before I could post this such as jennypie's response to Neo and getting B&B unbanned (for unrelated causes - which jennypie knew about at the time, making it impossible for B&B to react to her comments). So thats why its taken so long.
At any rate what happened has helped me realize I should be spending my time on more practical things. The fact that this happened amazed even me, the level of narcissism, seriousness, and unfounded vendettas some people can attribute to a silly online forum like TA. All this said hopefully it can be put behind us and we can move on.

| i doubt many people even no what you're refering to, but i don't see why we need to discuss it any further especially in public. i'm sure the mods don't have a problem with b&b posting as long as he's here to have fun and not cause trouble. despite what might have been said by jennypie or anyone else, b&b has had a history in the past of causing trouble and being abrasive much to the distaste of the mods. that being said, i'm sure we are all glad to have him back as long as he continues to follow the rules as he does contribute knowledge and information about genres that perhaps others might be interested in. |
